This represents data on Benthic fauna, Food webs and the littoral zone from the Polish Academy of Sciences; Institute of Oceanology, taken between 1981 - 1985 from 60 stations annually investigated during summer.

In 1997 and 1998 soft-bottom fauna of the arctic glacial fjord Kongsfjorden was extensively sampled and major communities were identified along the fjord axis, which were believed to be related to the diminishing influence of the glacial activity. This set of data was collected as part of a PhD programme and was the result of repeated sampling in search for natural or climate driven community changes.

These data were collected as part of a large study, aiming to compare the structure of the nematode communities at two comparable sublittoral sites, located in the Southern Baltic and the south-eastern part of the North Sea.
